Mike Kelly from Utah Valley University(D-1) came down south to
recruit at Antelope Valley College. Coach Kelly spent a lot of time looking at the “guard end” of the court. Have a feeing he was was looking at Jason “JJ” Johnson, 6’3”, 195 SG who has been on his radar for a few years. He looked impressed as well with Josh Blaylock’s play, especially after 3 consecutive 3 balls with a hand in his face. Kinda, “Who was that masked man.” Saw Blaylock got another letter from U of Hawaii today. Guess I am going to call Josh the “Rainbow Warrior.” Saw Coach Kelly with wing Sean Boston as well. 
Decent practice with Gomez showing why he has been recruited as a D-1 point guard. Also have to mention the level of energy on rebounding, defense and the mid-range shooting by Dwan Caldwell, 6’8”, 245. Dwan took a full tilt charge from 6’7, 215, Larry Slaughter today and we had to check floor integrity after those two big guy crashed.
